The key ingredient? HelloCello’s Limoncello di Sonoma, an organic lemon artisanal brandy made by local couple, Fred and Amy Groth, who source lemons from local farms and orchards.
In addition to the Limoncello di Sonoma, the martini employs Absolut Vanilla Vodka, simple syrup and has a floating meringue with lemon zest on top.
The Limoncello is also used in Saddles Restaurant’s Crème Brulee Martini, where bartender Sean Mullins caramelizes sugar-coated, crème-stuffed olives; and at Estate, where the Groths themselves helped to create the Baci di Limon, which includes Limoncello, a biscotti liqueur and floating biscotti cookie made with olives and orange zest.
