How it works
Two (2) times a year you will receive our Distiller’s selection of four seasonal Cello liqueurs handcrafted by your friends at HelloCello in the heart of Sonoma’s wine country. You will also receive discounts throughout the year with your ClubCello card.
Our First Club Cello release will be shipped around July 1st, 2012 just in time for summer. The inaugural club shipment of liquid sunshine will consist of:
1. Limoncello di Sonoma. Two bottles of super fresh batch #12, bottled April 2012.
2. FigCello di Sonoma. One bottle of our Bourbon barrel-aged FigCello. This is a Lady Gaga limited edition product that is not in circulation. If you thought our regular FigCello was good. Wait until you try this!
3. OrangeCello di Sonoma: Be the first to try this seasonal small batch OrangeCello handcrafted with Blood Oranges.
The cost per ClubCello order will be $100 for the four selections plus shipping. There will be a local Sonoma pick-up option at no cost.

International celebrity Lady Gaga dined and drank her way through Sonoma’s Wine Country Last weekend. Surrounded by world class wines what did the pop icon drink? Lady Gaga was seen enjoying FigCello di Sonoma in the signature cocktail the “Fig Kiss” at the girl & the Fig restaurant.

Lady Gaga in Sonoma sipping a Fig Kiss
The international pop star Lady Gaga ate and drank her way through Sonoma over the weekend. Gaga and her BF went to Girl and The Fig in Sonoma for lunch, where they ate mussels, salads with beets and figs, a Croque Monsieur with egg, and steak frites during a late Sunday afternoon lunch at the bar. This meal included a Fig Kiss cocktail which features FigCello di Sonoma liqueur made locally in Sonoma by HelloCello, (that’s us!)

Using a two-step barrel aging process, the spirited folks making Sonoma’s own Hooker’s House Bourbon import the good stuff from Kentucky distilleries, then age it in hand-picked pinot noir barrels for a flavor that’s entirely unique. The four-year-old bourbon “finished” for nine months imparting subtle wine and oak flavors and nuances. According to creator Fred Groth of HelloCello/Prohibition Spirits, the result is deep flavors of coffee, caramel, black cherry, vanilla and baking spices.
So what’s with the name? Let’s turn our history books back a page to General Joseph Hooker, a Civil War veteran best known for his love of stiff drinks and friendly ladies. Hooker’s House Bourbon refers to the handsome soldier’s Sonoma home and is also, of course, a cheeky reference to the frisky gals Hooker brought along during some of his military campaigns to raise morale among the men. Among other things. These agreeable ladies became known as “Hooker’s Brigade” and later, just “Hookers”.
At 100-proof there’s not doubt this is one stiff drink. Just the way the captain would have wanted it.
